Hello Friend

One of my favourite things from the 2017 Annual Catalogue has to be the Hello Friend Stamp Set. I’ve made so many pretty cards & projects using this set & I’m sad to say that it’s on the Retiring Product List ….

Stampin’ Up! Hello Friend Stamp Set – Retiring May 2018

If you’re a regular visitor to my blog you’ve quite possibly already seen one or two projects that feature this stamp set…. In case you haven’t, I’ve popped a pic of each below.

And here’s a closer look at the card that I’ve chosen to feature for today’s blog post…

As you can see, it looks similar to the 50th card that I’ve previously posted about, & there’s a good reason for that…. it’s because I don’t like to throw pretty things out!!

I was so happy with the “negative” die cut of the 50 from the first card that I kept it, & used it to make another card 🙂

I don’t know about you, but I get a real sense of satisfaction, when I make the most of what I’ve got, & find a way to use everything.

While we’re on the topic of retiring products, this card actually features a total of 3 retiring products:

  • Hello Friend Stamp Set
  • Large Number Framelits Dies
  • Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad

Top Tip: The Large Number Framelits Dies & coordinating stamp set are also on the retiring list…they are absolutely essential to have in your craft stash, so if you don’t already have them, make sure you get them now!!

Now in case I haven’t convinced you about how much I love the Hello Friend stamp set, I’ve included a couple of pics of two other projects that I’ve made using it…yep I’ve even managed to use it to create some Christmas Cards, with matching gift tags.

So if you don’t have the Hello Friend Stamp Set in your craft collection yet, now is the time to add it…you really don’t want to miss out on this one, it’s superb.

Much Love, K xo
