Would you like to know what gets a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator excited? Well I have something to share with you that answers that very question…. A NEW EXCLUSIVE STAMP!!
Yep, in essence it’s pretty simple & seems rather obvious. But wait a minute! This is no ordinary stamp, no sir, this is a very special stamp indeed. You see Shannon West from Stampin’ Up! has started a movement that we can all get behind & support. It has relevance to each & everyone of us. It’s about simply celebrating birthdays! Shannon is bringing birthdays back! Click here to read more about how Shannon started bringing birthdays back.
You might be thinking to yourself “what on earth does Katrina mean”? Well do you remember when we used to post an actual physical card in the mail? Do you remember how great it felt to open your letterbox & find a card waiting inside? A card that was sent just to you, from a friend or family member….. not an impersonal Facebook message or computer generated reminder. Perhaps you would arrive at work & find that a thoughtful colleague had left you a card on your desk to wish you all the best on your special day….. It felt amazing right?! To know that someone had thought of you & taken the time to send you a little message inside a card to say that they cared & hoped you had a fantastic day :-). Why on earth did we stop? Are we really so busy that we can’t take the time to send a friend, family member or work colleague something more than a text or standard Facebook message? We have become so impersonal & distant & I think we need to put more personality back into our relationships.
So I’m getting behind Shannon & her message. I’m going to start by making & sending out birthday cards to all my family, friends & work colleagues. I’ve ordered myself the #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp from Stampin’ Up!. This stamp has been made to replicate Shannon’s own hand carved version. How totally cool is that?! If you would like to get behind Shannon West & bring birthdays back why not jump online & order a #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp for yourself. They are available to purchase online from Midnight 23.03.2016 (item number 143573). Make sure you get in quick as they sold out very quickly when they went on sale in America earlier this month.
Would you like to receive a handmade card from me on your birthday? If you would, simply leave me a comment with your email address or send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org & don’t forget to include your date of birth & mailing address. I’ll stamp your card or envelope with the #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp, all you need to do in return is post a pic of your card or yourself (with your card) on either facebook or another form of social media & add the #imbringingbirthdaysback …. If you want you can even leave me a message either here or on my facebook page letting me know you received your card :-).
Much Love, K xo
